Our begining as Washingtonian farmers, starts in the beautiful Skagit Valley; specifcally, a place called Mount Vernon, right along the Skagit river. Mark Kallstrom's Dad (Glenn) and Grandfather (Carl) were diversified farmers. They dairied jersey cows and grew a variety of crops, which consisted of sweet corn, strawberries, pasture land, and seed crops. . The family then moved to Port Orchard where they continued to Dairy and expand their operation. Interesting enough, Glenn Kallstrom received a football scholarship to WSU, and that's where the love for Eastern WA began. It wasn't long after that Glenn moved his family of six to an area known as the Columbia Basin to expand the dairy herd.
